Real Techniques Order

My order finally came!!! *happy dance*
It took about 2.5 weeks to come from the US to our Aussie shore (slightly longer than other online stores) but I'm still excited.

My order consisted of:
- Silicon liner brush
- Modern natural makeup kit

To my surprise I got a printed liner brush for free - but apparently it does come with all palette orders.

I have been rocking this palette all week and loved it! My favourite shade was the brown-gold shade (2nd from top). Gloss and blush/highlighter is yet to be used as I have been riding into work and full-face helmet and base makeup is a big no-no!

Maybelline Clean Express Miracle Cleansing Oil

I recently finished the Maybelline Clean Express Miracle Oil Cleanser and was pleasantly surprised by the results.
Firstly the texture is like any cleansing oil once you pump it out but it does not leave that tacky residue on your face once you wash it off.

I use about 2 pumps (standard for my make up use) and concentrate on my eyes first before spreading out to the rest of my face. I wear waterproof/water resistant eyeliner and mascara just to give you an idea on what I need taken off.
Generally one wash removes all my makeup but I always follow up with normal cleanser after this. It doesn't break me out *happy* but a con I have is my go-to mascara (which is notoriously hard to remove) does not come off completely and I usually reach for my other Japanese cleansing oil to take it off.

Another con is the price point. Its not expensive (~$12 AUD) and available from Sasa.com but the size I get only 120mL compared to the 230mL from my Japanese brand (I use Kose Softymo) for around the same price.

So here is the run down:

PROS:
- Doesn't break me out
- Portable, so great for travel
- No tacky residue left after washing off
- Washes off most of my makeup

CONS:
- The ratio for size to price point is lower compared to other brands
- It doesn't remove super long-stay mascaras
- Can only be purchased online

TIPS: Use when your face and hands are completely dry. When used wet it doesn't remove well (damp included). Avoid getting this into your eye as it clouds your vision and you need to run your eyes under running water to remove (it doesn't hurt but more uncomfortable).

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

Recently my good friend Ting went home for a visit to Dublin and returned with this concealer.

I heard many raves about this so I was super psyched to get my hands on it (not available in Australia - unfortunately).
The shade I got was Medium 3 and it looks slightly too light for me (mind my shocking tan line on my arm. My love for my watch left a permanent line) but it blends super well and currently this concealer is part of my daily make up routine!

Wearing this only ever slightly creased on me after +10hrs of wear. I have to set this with powder but it doesn't fade to it hides all my imperfections!

Totally loving this and highly recommended. Sasa.com does sell items from Collection so it might be handy to keep an eye out for it!

Sally Hansen Sugar Coat

Strolling at Priceline I came across the new Sally Hansen nail polish. Super excited but cautious - I purchased one in 700 Cotton Candies.

Here are the results!

Overall it dried quickly - as you are suppose to apply 2 thin coats. Careful if you let too much time in between coats it may be hard painting on the next one. I totally did the textured feel. I do wonder how long it will last on my nails... 1 day - 1 week... we shall see....

Sorry for the green cuticles as I hastily removed my green polish before applying!

UPDATE: As suspected the nails only last about 2 days on me before it became waaaayyy to chipped for me to not pick at it. Removal was simple and straight-forward but like removing glitter - soak the remover on your nails before wiping it off!
